Digital and data are transforming the way of work globally and locally—a large share of today’s workforce will need to learn new skills. Australia will need to address these changes in its workforce through large-scale reskilling programs and initiatives across the private and public sectors.

APPROACH

Using McKinsey’s proprietary methodologies (Leap) that build and launch new business-building ventures with our clients.

Across 3 distinct phases, we help define this new venture by:

  • Developing deep consumer, competitor, and B2B insights around unmet needs and solutions.

  • Developed minimum loveable product and validated in the market with three alpha clients (lead design).

  • Built an insights platform that links learning activities to personal and organisational outcomes (lead design).

ROLE

Lead designer on the engagement, where I played several roles over a 2-year period.

My responsibility was to develop a platform vision based on extensive research in the market (Triple Diamond methodology).
My 2nd role was playing the design lead as part of a product trio where I led the conceptual vision and product definition of the learning performance platform through to development (Triple Diamond methodology)

IMPACT

We helped our client develop a custom digital analytics platform, a learning platform and expertly trained team, they made a significant impact in our first year, acquiring 6 clients and reaching over 1000 learners in our pilot programs.
